We are pleased to announce that the members of Saskatoon Co-op have voted to amalgamate with Watrous Co-op and Hepburn Co-op. Saskatoon Co-op members attended the Annual General Meeting on the evening of April 24, 2018 to discuss these opportunities and to vote on the amalgamation resolutions. The results of the votes were 97% in favour of the Watrous amalgamation and 97% in favour of the Hepburn amalgamation. The effective date of the amalgamation with Watrous Co-op will be August 19, 2018, and the effective date of the amalgamation with Hepburn Co-op will be February 3, 2019.

Saskatoon Co-op has proudly served Saskatoon and area for more than 80 years, operating in and around Saskatoon, Warman, Martensville and Colonsay. It has over 112,000 members, operates six food stores, 14 gas bar/convenience stores, a liquor store, two home centres, an agro supplies/bulk petroleum department, a new fertilizer plant in Hepburn, a hybrid store in Colonsay, and one Clinical Pharmacy in Warman. Projects currently under construction include a new liquor store in Saskatoon.
Watrous Co-op currently operates a gas bar, food store and farm & home supply facility in the town of Watrous. Watrous Co-op is also a major supplier of bulk fuel products to farm and commercial customers.
Hepburn Co-op currently has retail locations in Hepburn, Waldheim, Dalmeny and Rosthern. Hepburn Co-op operates 1 liquor/gas bar, 2 gas bars, 3 cardlocks and a food store/ agro centre, and is a major supplier of bulk fuel products to farm and commercial customers.
The merger of these organizations into a new, expanded co-operative will provide exciting new opportunities for Co-op members, customers and employees within a growing trading area.
